PJ DAY

At our school we love any opportunity to dress up, or maybe it's dressing down...anyway here we are all dressed in our onesies and jarmies for our Pyjama Day.

CINDERELLA'S WEDDING DRESS

Part of our fables, fairytales, myths and legends learning this term we embarked on designing a wedding dress and shoes for fairytale character Cinderella.
It's amazing what can be made with a bit of fabric and some bling!
There are definitely some future 'haute couture' designers in the making in Room 9.

NETBALL TASTER with TASH

Last week we had Tash come and visit us from Hamilton City Netball. 

She came and taught us some skills that we can apply when we are playing netball and basketball.

We found that there are some significant differences when it comes to netball and basketball, but the majority of the ball skills are adaptable between both sports.

We are talented basketball players, so we can now also be talented netball players.

TUAKANA & TEINA

From Monday to Thursday we read to, read with and read by the Teina students in our school. 

It is an opportunity for us to show leadership as we give back to the students who came before us and who helped us along our learning pathway.

Big thank you to Ms Shore and her class for having us in your class to support the learning of both groups of students.
