GEOMETROCITY

Thanks to a wonderful resource, we have spent the past three weeks designing, creating and building our very own cities.
We got into groups of mixed abilities, came up with a plan for our cities, named our cities, created our cities and then last but by no means least, we built our cities using 3D net shapes.
Here are pictures of us working through the whole process.

Here are our completed cities.

FUN with SARAH JOHNSON'S BOOKS

Here are our artworks linked to two books by NZ author Sarah Johnson.
We had the privilege of having Sarah visit us earlier this term.
Take a look at our 'Wooden Arms' and 'The Bold Ship Phenomenal' works.

ART & CRAFT DAY 2016

Wow, what a busy week we have had. Finishing our art pieces for the Art & Craft Day 2016.
The students in the Tuakana end of the school were involved in cake decorating, edible creations, tinfoil art, card making, miniature gardens and clay. Here are some shots of the pieces that were created by our talented Tuakana students (Yrs 4-8).
