UP, UP and AWAY

As part of the 'Balloons over Waikato' festival we read Colin Thompson's 'Tower to the Sun'.
This story is about how a young boy and his grandfather can no longer see the sun, due to pollution in the world. So they decide to build a tower, solely made out of some of the landmarks from around the world.

This inspired us to think of all the landmarks we knew and we imagined what it would be like if we could fly over the top of these landmarks in our own hot air balloons.
This was our inspiration.

I hope you like our results.

As you scroll through our artwork, leave us a message about how many landmarks you can name from here.
