WHERE IN THE WORLD?

On Friday night, Mrs M heard from an old teaching friend of hers, who lives and teaches in Zambia.
Where is that?
Well we are excited by the prospect of interacting with these students regularly as we learn a little about who they are and where they are from and vice versa.
This is going to be a fun time for us in Room 9.
Can't wait until we begin this journey together.

OUR SMARTS

Finally our Olympic SMARTS are complete.

Congratulations to all our Minions who have worked hard to present their learning in many formats from posters to Google slides to Prezi's to movies.

Here is a collection of their fantastic learning.

OLYMPIC TAGUL

Here is some of our writing around our chosen Olympic Sport.
We used Tagul as our presentation format.

and here it all is on our classroom wall.

OLYMPIC ART

Here is our Olympic Art focussing on the negative spaces in our artworks.
Each one of us chose an Olympic Sport and created our pieces from that. We used felt around the outside to help create the negative space of our Olympic sport.

They look amazing and brighten up our walls in Room 9.
