Here are the jobs that the students have to apply for in Room 9. There are enough jobs for everyone.

Some jobs require references from past teachers or parents.

        Personal Assistant –x1 (reference required)

Answering the phone, Help Mrs M organise her workload, Take messages around the school, Handing out work and collecting in work
Salary: $80 fortnight

 Banker-x6 (reference required)

Keep banking records for 5 students. Accept money for deposits. Pay out money for withdrawals. Keep some cash ready to meet requests. Be available to complete all banking transactions daily. Deposit remaining cash in the Central Classroom Bank.

Salary: $100 fortnight

Police-x6 (reference required)

Keep track of when students miss homework, Behave sensibly when moving around the school. Hand out tickets to fine students who break the rules. Keep a record of fines and payments. Conduct desk inspections in co-ordination with the teacher. Deposit money from fines in the Fine Folder.

Salary: $80 fortnight

Caretakers-x10

Clean and tidy classroom until it shines. Keep the shelves and benches clean. Keep floor clear and straighten the desks. Keep the cloak bay clear of rubbish, old socks and shoes. Make sure recycling items are placed where they should be.
Salary: $60 fortnight

 Librarian-x2

Keep the class library organised. Remind students to return the books if they are late. Recommend authors to your classmates. Take books to the school library as scheduled. Sort reading group boxes.
Salary: $50 fortnight

 Homework Monitor-x2

Keep a daily record of students’ completed homework assignments. Inform Police Officers about incomplete or missing homework so they can write fine tickets.
Salary: $60 fortnight

ICT Monitor-x1

Making sure all classroom devices are ready to use before the start of school. Recharging all iPads and making sure they are all stowed away safely at the end of each block.Putting computers to sleep at the end of the day and shutting down on Fridays.

Salary: $50 fortnight

Gardener-x4

Making sure our classroom garden plot is well maintained, weed-free, watered, and visually appealing.

Salary: $50 fortnight

 Sports Monitor–x2

Making sure all classroom equipment is distributed and returned after each break. Collect and return all PE shed gear tidily. Report all broken gear to Mrs. M.
